Color Study – With Kevin Womack

Confused by the color wheel or unsure how to choose colors that truly work together? Join Kevin
Womack for a hands-on exploration of color theory designed specifically for quilters. In this
five-session course, students work directly with fabric to explore nine essential color harmonies using
a consistent star block format.
Through clear instruction, guided fabric selection, thoughtful discussion, and focused sewing time,
students gain color confidence as each session builds on the last. In the final session, participants
assemble a finished color reference quilt and leave class with stronger color instincts and the
confidence to make intentional, expressive choices.
Ideal for adventurous beginners through experienced quilters. Basic cutting and piecing knowledge
required.
Kit is required and will be handed out during the first session. Kevin has particular colors that you will work with.
